I return to these translated 'proverbs' on parenting again and again. With three under 5-y/o at home, they help clear the fog in the (many) moments of frustration, confusion, or disillusionment. I wasn't very familiar with the Tao Te Ching, though it's apparently the second most-sold book behind the Bible. These pages are filled with encouragement for parents seeking wisdom and the 'long-view' on raising kids. A must-read and one of my favorite gifts to new parents.
