About the Book 

In a world that is only getting busier and noisier, we are surrounded by sounds that compete for our attention. When we turn off the noise and really listen, we might be surprised at what we hear. We may even learn something new about ourselves! 

This thoughtful picture book uses images and a story told in rhyme to show that some of the most important messages of all can be found when we take the time to listen to the silence.   

About the Author

Marjean Brooks is the author of the inspirational children’s book, Listen to the Silence, published by Redemption Press in 2025. She is also co-author of The Way of Grace by Glandion Carney, published by InterVarsity Press in 2014. She won the title of "Writer of the Year" at the Write to Publish Conference in Wheaton, IL, for her work on The Way of Grace.
